Tang Xuan is a very athletic tomboy who is into various kinds of sports in Cupid's Chocolates.

Background[]

Tang Xuan is the president of the school's Athletics Club, where the girls greatly respect her while the boys fear her for her ruthless Spartan-like training. She hates men and is not afraid to show it by going hard on the club's male members, but then she ate Cupid's Chocolate and became the second girl to approach Jiang Haoyi by claiming to be his girlfriend.

Appearance[]

Tang Xuan is a girl that likes to dress simply and wears her hair in a pony tail. In the anime, she is always wearing blue shorts and tanktop with white sneakers when she attends school, but, unbeknownst to her fellow club members, she wears red maid outfits and attends cosplay gatherings. In the web manga she wears the school's standard uniform, a white shirt and a plain skirt.

Personality[]

Tang Xuan is a tomboy and self-proclaimed feminist who does not hesitate to attack boys in order to protect women. Intellectually she is on the average, but in exchange she is a top-tier athlete with interest in multiple sports, as mentioned in the web manga. She has a short temper and likes to put a tough act, but secretly has a feminine side and likes to dress in anime cosplay clothes, although her supposed lack of feminity causes her to have low self-confidence.

After eating Cupid's Chocolate, she develops intense feelings for Haoyi, but tends to be embarrassed about them and refuses to admit them openly while acting jealous when she sees him with other girls. Out of the girls in Haoyi's "harem", she is usually the one that trusts him the least, and tends to believe any bad rumours that circulate about him without listening to his side or accuse him of things he didn't do. In spite of this, she does care for his well being and ends up being more accepting of her feelings as time passes, to the point that she develops a covert pervert side when she comes to visit Haoyi during his convalescence and enjoys the smell of his scent in the air.

In Episode 4, Tang Xuan uses a water hose to spray the boys in her club while she forces them to do 1,000 push ups as payment for a bet the boys made and lost. When Jiang Haoyi tries to stop her, the two struggle for the hose until she gets accidentally sprayed.

Tang Xuan first met Haoyi when she was under the Cupid's Chocolate spell, believing herself to be his girlfriend, only to "break up" with him later on. Their next meeting happens at the Anime Expo, where she is shocked at his appearance while he is shocked about her true nature. After Haoyi helps her win the contest by dressing as a girl, helping her achieve her wish, she develops real feelings for him but keeps them secret, believing Haoyi to be a pervert as she is unwilling to accept it's all a misunderstanding.

Tang Xuan seems to have a good friendship with Zitong especially when her and Haoyi help Tang Xuan win the Anime Expo. She also seems to care about Zitong's well being when she tried to rescue her during the group camping trip. She does show little signs of jealousy on how Zitong gets along well with Haoyi.

Lin Yuan[]

Tang Xuan seems to be a rival of Lin Yuan for Haoyi's affections but being good friends with her.

Ouyang Xueli[]

Tang Xuan really gets annoyed on how Xueli believes that Haoyi is hers. Tang Xuan also shows a sign of fear of Xueli trying to kill her for her affections on Haoyi. She gets disgusted by Xueli believing that she's a pervert like Haoyi on how Xueli comments about Tang Xuan's big breasts and body figure.
